Justwondering why the alfa CD says tighten to 20NM. Apologies - I don't mean to question your expertise but where did you find out you need to tighten the head bolts to 40NM. At the top of page 41 in this document ("Cylinder head tightening") which are the torque values for the 16v TS engine. The paper manual states the TOTAL torque values
