Many LG OLED TV owners use this approach and we include it here for completeness and reference. You’ll only go off and find it elsewhere anyway if this is something you want to explore and choose to ignore our warnings. You cannot access the TV service menu (at least on modern LG OLED TV’s) with the normal provided remote.
The most probable reason for this problem is a glitch in your LG TV. The reasons for your LG TV not saving password problem are given below; Software glitches may prevent the LG TV from saving the Wi-Fi password. Reset the TV or update the firmware to fix the problem. Incompatible security settings can cause the LG TV not to save the Wi-Fi Not sure if the G2 actually has some real differences compared to the C2 this year, as previous differences has been marginal (besides design etc). Yes the G2 is a pretty good improvement with greater color volume and higher peak brightness for a more impactful HDR experience however, I would go with either one of the QD OLEDs. To get into the service menu of your LG OLED TV, press the ‘IN START’ button on your service remote, which will bring up a password prompt. 3. When prompted for a password, enter 0413. Since the latest version of LG Revolution, Spectrum and Lucid you can not open the LG Service Menu. We have decided to release our LG tool for opening the LG Service Menu. Version 1.
