Thanks Sniper Jebus, this sorted out my issues with Fallout 4, was tearing my hair out trying to figure it out. This is what I did: 1: Create new local user. 2: signed out of Microsoft account. 3: sign in with local user account. Also I disabled OneDrive. You need to unlink it, and make sure it does not start when Windows does. E.g remove all mods, then enable a few, test to find the mod that crashes the game. If the games crash with F4SE with no mods, redownload F4SE and try again, if it still crashes check file integrity with steam, and/or re-download the game. F4SE should work with a fresh install of Fallout 4 with no problems. [deleted] • 7 yr. ago. Uninstalling all mods first, then the game. After that, go to the game folder and delete anything remaining in it. Next, go to Documents/My Games/Fallout4 and delete the Fallout4.ini and the Fallout4Prefs.ini. Now reinstall the Vanilla game from your backup and start a new game. But after the new update I can't load any Fallout 4 save with it. Using the usual shortuct and Steam works fine, and I uninstalled all mods and started a new save to try again, but after I leave a save that save will always crash the game after I load, is there a fix to this, or am I just doing a dumb?

Check the folder Documents\My Games\Fallout4 to see if the saved games are actually there. Then as mentioned make sure the cloud sync is off. After that make sure your malware etc. protections have not locked the game from accessing the folder.

So, I have a bit of a self-inflicted problem on my hands. Here's the backstory -I made a new profile by copying my current game/loadout to start a new Fallout 4 profile using MO2. -Named the new profile, etc. and deleted the save games that transferred from copying without ticking the Local Sa Hi I copied some 2015 hard copy Fallout 4 Saves from my USB and tried to load them on my digital Fallout 4 copy. They are not showing up on the save list at all on the game. I imagine the many patches and DLCs have made the saves incompatible. Thanks. LvMPo0.
